STEP ONE

Once you have done a thorough review of our website and familiarized yourself with our program and policies, you may begin the process of enrollment.

The first step, of course, is "dropping" your child from the school s/he is currently enrolled in. This process may vary from state to state, however, normally it is a simple matter of going to your child's existing school and informing them that you intend to enroll your child in a private home school.

Make sure you keep whatever forms you are provided by the school when your child is dropped. We will be requiring copies for our records.

STEP TWO

Complete the Authorization to Release Form which authorizes New Horizons Home School Academy to obtain your child's official transcripts from his/her prior school. (Please note that you must drop your child from his/her existing school either concurrently or immediately following enrollment in our Academy. The prior school will not normally release records for a student who is has not officially been dropped from their enrollment.)

Obtaining student transcripts is an essential part of enrollment.

STEP THREE

Read and check off our Tuition Policy for essential information regarding tuition payments and refunds.

STEP FOUR

Complete and submit the Enrollment Form taking care to be thorough.

STEP FIVE

Directly mail to us any paperwork given to you when you dropped your child from his/her existing school. Mail this to the address given below along with registration & tuition payment as instructed in your Welcome! email. You will receive this email within 24 hours of our receiving your 1) Authorization to Release, 2) Tuition Policy & 3) Enrollment Form.

Once this entire enrollment process is complete and your payment has been received, you will be sent your child's Comprehensive Student Interpretive Analysis (CSIA) and first month's curriculum & study binder USPS PRIORITY MAIL. Under normal circumstances, we do not hold up your child's program while your check clears the bank.
